Imagine a chef who stands at 6-foot-9.
If Japeth Aguilar will try to excel at culinary as what he’s been preoccupied during this quarantine period, he could yet qualify as one of the world’s tallest cook.
Instead of the basketball court, the kitchen has been Aguilar’s comfort zone these days with the country and the entire world still reeling from the effects of the coronavirus outbreak.
His first foray at cooking, the Barangay Ginebra slotman disclosed trying his hand at preparing kaldereta (beef stew).
“(May) recipe na yun ng tatay ko,” said the native of Sasmuan, Pampanga and son of former PBA player Peter Aguilar.
“Isang beses pa lang naman yun kasi yung wife ko talaga ang nagluluto ng food namin,” Aguilar added.
He got a passing grade from wife Cassy Naidas-Aguilar.
“Pasado, pasado daw,” said a smiling Aguilar.
